Our Mission Statement
We are an independent local charity serving the community living and working in the Ancient Parish of Enfield. We support individuals, families and organisations in financial need with dignity and respect.
We have been able to continue our work for more than 500 years thanks to the generous gifts of Enfield benefactors and the granting of a Royal Charter giving us the right to run Enfield Market.
How we help
Grants & Donations
Apply for a grant
Should you find yourself facing financial difficulties and some unexpected expenses or needing help with education and training, you can apply for one of our Personal or Education Grants. We also have Community Grants for local groups and charities that have a great idea that will benefit the people of the Ancient Parish.
Donations
Each year, thanks to the generous gifts of Enfield benefactors, The Old Enfield Charitable Trust administers around £250K in grants to those working and residing in the boundary of The Ancient Parish of Enfield….but we could always do more. Help us to help others as a regular giver, by leaving a legacy or through corporate giving.
